چکیده

We have used the Low-Temperature Laser Scanning Microscope (LTLSM) technique for a spatially resolved investigation of the microwave transport properties, nonlinearities, and material inhomogeneities in an operating coplanar waveguide YBa2Cu3O7−δ (YBCO) microwave resonator on a LaAlO3 (LAO) substrate. The influence of twin-domain blocks, in-plane rotated grains, and micro-cracks in the YBCO film on the nonuniform radiofrequency (rf) current distribution was measured with a micrometer-scale spatial resolution. The impact of the peaked edge currents and rf field penetration into weak links on the linear device performance were also studied. The LTLSM capabilities and its future potential for nondestructive characterization of the microwave properties of superconducting circuits are discussed.

Imaging sub-millimeter waves in planar cryoelectronic circuits by scanning laser microscopy

Low temperature scanning laser microscopy (LTSLM) is demonstrated to be capable of imaging sub-THz electromagnetic fields in cryoelectronic integrated structures. This method allows to evaluate the spatial distribution of timeaveraged field amplitudes with a resolution of about one micrometer for samples with characteristic dimensions of the order of millimeters. Using LTSLM, cryoelectronic dev...

The comparison synthesis of CuNiO2 nanoparticles prepared by sol-gel auto-combu on, microwave and co-precipitation techniques

The CuNiCA nanopanicles have been synthesized by sol-gel auto-combusson. microwave and co-precipitationtechniques. Then, the results of the three techniques were compared. In the vol-ael auto-combustion synthesiswas used glycine as a fuel. At first, sol was prepared. Then, gel was achieved from drying so'. The prepared gelwas burnt at 350°C. In the noicrowavc technique, gel was prepared. Then, ...

Time-Resolved Photoresponse in the Resistive Flux-Flow State in Y-Ba-Cu-O Superconducting Microbridges

186 LLE Review, Volume 95 Introduction High-temperature superconductors (HTS’s) exhibit many properties that are very desirable for microwave-based telecommunication applications. Their main advantages are low absorption at microwave frequencies1 and existence of HTS microwave devices based on the controlled vortex flux flow.2 The mostpromising material is the YBa2Cu3O7–x (YBCO) superconductor ...

Synthesis of Al2O3-ZrO2 Nanocomposite by Mechanical Activated Self-propagating High Temperature Synthesis(MASHS) and Ignited via Laser

By consideration of unique properties of composite Al2O3-ZrO2 such as high toughness, high wear resistant and relative low thermal expansion, in this study, nanocomposite of Al2O3-ZrO2 was produced by Mechanical activated Self propagating High-temperature Synthesis (MASHS) using laser beam for ignition. First Al and ZrO2 powders were mixed in the mole ratio of 1:1 and milled for 1, 3 and 6 hour...

Sea surface temperature observation through clouds

Sea surface temperature (SST) is an important parameter used in many applications, such as fisheries, weather forecasting as boundary condition, and monitoring of climate changes. In these applications, SST is necessary under both fine and cloudy conditions, which can be made by passive microwave radiometers in particular under cloudy condition. To measure SST by microwave radiometers, frequenc...
